Drying Requirement: All polyamide materials are hygroscopic. They must be thoroughly dried before processing (typically 4-6 hours at 80°C for PA6, 4-6 hours at 100-120°C for PA66 in dehumidifying dryers) to a moisture content below 0.1-0.2%. Improper drying will cause significant property loss and surface defects.
